In 1994, I opened my first retail store at the Mall of America, featuring handcrafted furniture and intricately hand-painted children’s clothing. The tiny shop rapidly and successfully evolved into both oh baby! and que será. I design oh baby!’s in-house line of children’s clothing, bed linens, and artwork, all of which are handcrafted in Minnesota and can now be found in stores worldwide.
In addition to apparel and accessory design, I have a gift for listening and capturing my client’s aesthetic. I have designed retail boutiques, shop fixtures, and primary and vacation homes across the country. I’ve found joy in providing modern interior design inspiration and knowledge to our clients and customers, and I am proud of the design legacy my team has ushered into Minnesota.
I began my venture as an interior designer at Seminole State College in Oviedo, FL. I’ve worked on many residential and commercial projects in Minnesota, and I’ve continued to grow as a designer in an ever-changing creative environment since joining the que será team in 2011. When working on a design project with a client, it starts with learning about who the family or individual is, and then translating that in order to achieve a great design that is both functional and beautiful.
